The Taylor Homes Group has been in the home building and real estate business in Bartlesville and the surrounding communities since 1958. In addition to fine home building, THG owns and manages a number of commercial and residential for lease properties. These properties include houses, duplexes, apartments and lofts as well as commercial office space.

“FILL UP THE BACK OF THE SHOVEL”
Ross Taylor
When I was a teenager working job sites in our homebuilding business, Brent’s Grandpa Ross Taylor (pictured) would tell me to “fill up the back of the shovel and the front will take care of itself.” This seemed incredibly obvious to me at the time, but over the years, I’ve come to understand that phrase as a maxim for Taylor Homes.
It means, don’t take shortcuts, work smart, be efficient, and take pride in doing what we call simply, “good work.”

Since 1958, when Ross Taylor and second generation builder, Terrel, starting constructing homes. Since then, we’ve been crafting homes as more than a space, it's the place where your life happens. Meals, events, occasions, romance, children, living, and relaxing in a place that is called home.
